Errors & omissions
MC Design Studio strives for accuracy at all times. However, proofs are sent to the Client for approval prior to final delivery or distribution. The Client is responsible for carefully checking all proofs and deliverables for accuracy in all respects, including spelling, content and technical details. MC Design Studio cannot be held responsible for any errors once approval has been granted.
Revisions & author alterations
Revision work is not undertaken free of charge. Quoted rates are based on a reasonable and standard number of revisions per design item. Any additional revisions or alterations beyond this scope will be billed at an agreed hourly rate.
Copyrights & trademarks
By supplying text, images and other content to MC Design Studio for inclusion in any project (including but not limited to presentations, business cards, flyers, brochures or websites), the Client confirms that they hold the necessary copyright and/or trademark permissions. Ownership of such materials remains with the Client or the respective copyright or trademark holder.
Right of Ownership
The Client shall be entitled to full ownership of all final approved artwork upon receipt of full payment of the agreed fee. All work, files and deliverables remain the property of MC Design Studio until full payment has been received.
Source Files
MC Design Studio will supply final proofs, print-ready PDF files, and PowerPoint (.pptx) files where applicable, or other agreed formats as outlined in the project scope.
Design fees include the delivery of final, usable files (such as PDF and PPTX), but do not include the release of editable design source files (including but not limited to INDD, PSD, AI, FLA, AEP or other working/source files).
PowerPoint files supplied are considered final delivery files and may not include underlying design assets, templates, or original source elements used to create them.
Should the Client require full design source files for transfer to another designer or for internal editing beyond the agreed scope, this will be subject to a separate quotation or buy-out fee.
Stock Images
Licensed stock images and assets are included in the design quotation where applicable. These assets are licensed to MC Design Studio; if the Client intends to use them independently or in the public domain outside of the supplied work, the appropriate licence must be obtained in the Client’s name.
Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required prior to commencement of any work.
The remaining 50% is payable upon completion of the project, prior to final delivery of files.
The initial deposit is non-refundable.
